FDCMS is an easy-to-use and very economical program designed for small to medium sized fire departments to help the fire department keep track of the every day tasks such as Personnel, Incident Attendance, Inventories, Air Cylinders and Training. Once your data has been keyed in, you can generate reports that calculate and categorize what you've entered. Inter-departmental mail (E-Mail) is also included. Just leave a networked PC accessible to all members of your fire department and assign them their own password. At this point each of your members can communicate to each other via email.
Different Security Levels can be configured for each user of FDCMS. The FDCMS administrator decides whether a user can only read or edit data in a particular module. Users can even be prevented from accessing a module at all.
FDCMS will run under Windows 95/98/Me and DOS 5.0 or greater. FDCMS also can be run on a Local Area Network in your fire station and/or remotely through a modem. Note: FDCMS is not a NYS incident reporting program.
Download FDCMS Version 9.0 - (1.3Mb)
Click below to download the full version of FDCMS. This software is now free to all fire and EMS agencies. Unfortunately, due to time constraints and other ongoing projects, I will no longer be able to support or update FDCMS. FDCMS version 9.0 will be available from this web site. Thanks to all of those departments that helped support FDCMS over the last 13 years.
Back up any existing FDCMS program and data files. (Do this, Really!!!)
Click Here to download the FDCMS Evaluation and use your browser to "Save it to Disk" in your C:\FDCMS directory or any other temporary directory of your choice.
After the download is complete you should Unzip the file FDCMS9.ZIP. All files should be extracted to the directory you selected.
Run SETUP.EXE and specify your data drive and directory along with the other fields in order to properly configure FDCMS.
In order to use a newer type printer with FDCMS you can try DOSPRN located at www.dosprn.com.
