Hardware History Support  LED Signs Layout Alarm Demo

Notice: FSID is no longer available. See our Incident Data Exchange application for similar functionality.

FSID is a unique Windows© 2000 / XP program that will continuously display sequential multiple general, non-emergency notices with images. These messages have user font control and can be scheduled by time period.  FSID will monitor your FDCMS or Pegasus in-house mail boxes and display member's names when it detects that there is mail waiting for them. FSID is network ready and can display CAD alarm data (either on-screen or via electronic LED signs) when interfaced with ADI.

When FSID is running, it behaves similar to a screen saver by continuously cycling through a series of screens that can be customized by any authorized user.  If a user wants to use the computer, he/she simply hits any key on the keyboard or clicks the mouse.  At this point FSID will minimize to the task bar and allow the user to run other applications.  Optionally, FSID will prompt the user at timed intervals for permission to resume sequencing.  A simple Yes or No response at that point is all that is required.

Screen4.jpg (145132 bytes)
There are three screens like this that can be configured to display any non-emergency messages that you'd like
Screen7.jpg (72317 bytes)
FSID will check either Pegasus Mail or FDCMS and notify your membership of any messages waiting

Recent Incidents are displayed on this screen to help keep your members informed of department activity

The Configuration menu allows authorized users to select and control how each screen will be displayed

When FSID is paired up with ADI, dispatch data sent from your dispatch center's CAD system will temporarily suspend the cycling of FSID and then display some crucial dispatch information on the computer screen in large, easy to read characters.  Displayed information includes Alarm Type, Location, Fire Box #, Assigned Units and Elapsed Time* since the call was received and dispatched. This screen will stay frozen with this information until either manually acknowledged by a user or automatically acknowledged after 'x' minutes.  The alarm screen can be configured to display on all networked PCs that are running FSID.   Optionally, up to four BETAbrite Classic or Big Dot electronic L.E.D. messaging signs can be connected to each computer to display the above textual data on all signs.

When the alarm screen is displayed, FSID can also speak the incident type, location, assigned units and any pre-programmed custom message.  This message can also be repeated at specific intervals while the alarm screen is displayed.  The voice output of your computer can be piped in to your fire station's paging amplifier so that alarm data is heard through all station speakers.  This feature is very useful for responding volunteers who are entering the station and are in the process of gearing up for the alarm.

* Displayed field data is dependant on the output capabilities of your county's CAD system
